Jennifer Watson completed a Bachelor of Arts Design with a Major in Illustration at the University of Western Sydney in 1993. She went on the study under Peter Godwin at the National Art School in Darlinghurst, completing a Fine Arts Degree with a painting major in 2005.
In 2005 Jennifer received the Sydney Olympic Park Authority artist-in-residence award for painting.
Jennifer has been exhibiting with Defiance Gallery since 2005, her semi-abstracted still lifes and landscapes regularly appearing in group shows such as the annual exhibitions ‘Same Place, Many Views, 'The Drawing Show' and 'The Landscape Show'.
Jennifer is currently working towards a solo exhibition in 2011.
