"My figure narratives hint at memory, secrets, longing, emotional thresholds. I want my protagonists to occupy psychological spaces more than a specific 'place', and I think of them as dream-keepers, transitioners, remakers. I'm interested in states of reverie, time as a still continuum - where 'past and future are gathered'. I'm always after an atmosphere of 'something else', the transcendent or the presence of an absence, a dream-like quality. "
